so for prom, I'll be wearing a botton up, dress pants and shoes, and a bow tie. Since I'm wearing a bow tie, would you recommend also wearing a cummerbund to go with it, or no? which would be better?

I'm a girl and I want to go to prom, but I don't want to wear a dress. I don't want to wear a tux either because they're just too expensive. I was wondering if wearing black dress pants, black blazers, a dress shirt, and a tuxedo bow tie will be formal enough and if I can get away with it.

Me and my bf (prom date... by default lol) are wearing black and red...

me: red dress (corset-like top, with a big black bow ribbon wrapping around under my bust, and poofy bottom... w/ silver gladiator-like stilettos... so most likely going to get some silver jewelry and silver clutch)

him: red/burgundy-ish dress shirt and tie w/ black blazer & dress pants and dress shoes

we both have dark brown hair... he has a tanner more yellow skin than me... i'm pretty pale white but kinda yellowy asian (i'm half)
his hair is ... i guess you could say typical asian guys' hair... like something outta dragon ball z lol
and mines just curly and long (past my bust i guess) (well i'm planning on curling it for my prom)

we both agreed that we wouldn't do roses because ... well we don't feel like it

i was thinking like lilies/orchids or something... i need ideas for flowers and design!

Milky, cream with navy stripe dress pants, shell cordovan wingtip dress shoes, cordovan dress belt, navy cashmere crewneck sweater, light blue striped dress shirt with white club collar, and a navy/royal/gold/white repp stripe bow-tie. Its all from Ralph Lauren and since I'm fairly tall and lean(5'11" at 177) I feel great...people have been complimenting me all day saying I look like a model...its really nice, but I dress like this almost everyday so its kinda overwhelming.

I will be attending my cousin's wedding in June. It will be held indoor and also outdoor at a hotel. My questions are, can I invite my boyfriend of 3 years even if he has not yet met my cousin? I already asked my cousin and she said it was fine, but now I feel a little awkward about it. And if he does go, what would he wear as a guest given that he is not "in" the wedding nor has he even met her? Does he still need to wear a tux/suit or can he just wear a dress shirt and black dress pants? Tie/bow tie? I believe the wedding will be formal since it starts at 5:30, but not THAT formal if you know what I mean?

I am in a girls show choir and the dress code is all black with a red bow tie. We have a performance next week. I'm going to be wearing skinny black dress pants, black pumps, and a black button up shirt with a red bow tie. I will most likely curl my hair. Should I go for red lipstick, or don't bother? I have a medium skin tone with long brown hair and blue eyes.
